Welcome

is a four-year (2002 - 2005) research and development program with the main objective to facilitate the use of recycled materials in road construction. The project is operated by the Road Technology Department at the Directorate of Public Roads.

Here are the materials that the program is focusing on.

The workshop "Recycled materials in road and airfield pavements", took place in Oslo, 25 June 2005. It was organized by the Norwegian Roads Recycling R&D Program (Gjenbruksprosjektet) and the Recycled Materials Resource Center, University of New Hampshire, USA.

The workshop is a part of the international conference "Bearing capacity of roads and airfields", which took place in Torndheim 27 - 29 June 2005. See the conference web site.
