This is a temporary working space for ERA-NET Road's Task force for work on Strategic Research Opportunity 3 (SRO 3): Road Owners getting to Grip with Climate Change.
At the workshop in Copenhagen 26.- 27. Nov 2007 we agreed upon two actions:

By 2008-01-22 make an inventory of ongoing research concerning adaptation to climate change in the participating countries. Contributions are so far received from UK, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway. If you have any information to add, please use this
template and send them by mail to Gordana and Chris by Jan 16 2008 lunch time.

Set up a call for project proposals on climate change. The document started in Copenhagen has developed into a document titled "Road Owners Getting to Grips with Climate Change - Description of Research needs for Supporting Decision Making".
* Please read through the
revised draft, as finalised at the workshop in Olso January 8, and comment your approval or respectively, your suggestion for amendments.
* The chapter called “2.2.1 Current European activities or topics on research agendas” is an area that requires some more work. This work has been divided up between us with the following task leaders:
a. FP 7 – Denmark, Michael Larsen
b. PIARC – Sweden, Håkan Nordlander (or Birgitta Nylander?)
c. ERTRAC Research Framework (2006) – Sweden, Håkan Nordlander (or Birgitta Nylander?)
d. FEHRL - The Strategic European Road Research Programme 2006-2011 – Sweden, Håkan Nordlander (or Birgitta Nylander?)
Please send your comments to the revised draft to Chris and Gordana by lunch time on Wednesday the 16th of January 2008 even if your only comment is “Nothing further to be added”.
